OK – seriously… I’m loving this blog! I’m seriously thinking “totes around the world” piece… I have a RAD Mexi (Virgin of Guadalupe) tote – I think it’s made of burlap. Remind me to bring to GHGH next time for you to photo.
The tote I use to carry around album samples is a plain black one I had custom made by LL Bean (they have a make-your-own-tote option). It’s OK but a few years later I’m hankering after a new and less utilitarian-looking one.
I just discovered your wonderful blog and had to say hello. I’m delighted to discover someone else who is obsessed with bags. I own so many and yearn for so many more that I no longer try to justify them based on actual need or function. I think of them as an art form instead!
I love this blog. You might also like our tote, the Duck Bag. Made from recycled cotton – a steal at $20.00. Comes in 9 good colors. I’d love to send you a sample/ photos.
Neat blog. I have a similar obsession, but instead of a blog – I have been making tote bags that I personally would carry any day. Here’s a link to some of my work – http://www.etsy.com/shop/purpleeucalyptus

First is the #1 tote on my most wanted list. Bottom is #2. Can’t buy either because I already have an embarrassing number of other totes.

Those are both excellent. I love it that the first one is made from recycled materials…and I love it that the second one is so wonderfully fancy.
